COMMUNICATING A CONVERSATION WITH TWO VOICES

Author Bill Birns’ book captured his conversations about Catskills rural culture with native Joe Hewitt. Birns wanted a cover that captured the humor and quirkiness of the discussion. He also wanted a graphic approach to the text that showed a conversation between cultures rather than an author quoting another person’s statements.
